About Me

Hola Super Amigos and families,

Arequipa, aka The White City

This is in the main Plaza de Armas in Arequipa, you can see the main Cathedral behind the portal in the background.

I am a Dual Language teacher originally from Arequipa, PerĂº. I have made Texas my home for 14 years. Let me repeat what many have expressed about moving to Austin TX, I got here as fast as I could!

I am a mother of two beautiful teenagers that make my world brighter every day. Both of them are in high school, grades 9th and 11th. I am very lucky to be teaching in the same district and share the same school calendar. It will be an interesting year for both and I can’t wait to come home to hear all about their incredible high school journey!

This is my sixth year teaching at a Dual Language classroom. Previously I have taught a year in Pre-k and four years in Kindergarten. I am very excited to have moved to First Grade. So far, each year has brought incredible learning opportunities for my students. I want to make sure, this one, brings fantastic, or as one of my kiddos put it “Dinotastic”, learning experiences for all!

Let the learning begin!
